Chinese art has grown in popularity in the West over the last few years. There is a real boom in China, with many thousands of artists making their way over to the West. China itself has been a major player in the growth of modern art in the West. In recent times many of the works have come to be regarded as being in'real' or even perfect condition. This is a great boon for buyers, as many paintings and other antiquities are selling for a lot more in the West than they did a few years ago.

China is a very popular area for collecting Chinese Art antiques, probably because so much of its past is part of the Chinese history. There are many examples of this, in fact, as many areas of China have been affected by the Opium War between the 16th Century and the nineteenth Century. This war resulted in the creation of many millions of acres of new desert, which in turn meant that there was a lot off new development in the Western world. Much of this new development came from the silk trade, which in turn had a great impact on art.

With the opening up of China to the world through the nineteenth century, the West was able to bring with it many things from Chinese culture. One of these things was art. The West had brought with it a variety of new painting techniques, and as a result Chinese Art began to develop as a response. Chinese Art appreciated during the Qing Dynasty, but then declined once this dynasty was abolished.

However, today Chinese Art has made a great comeback. This is because China has opened itself up to the world, and as a consequence there are now many travelling antique merchants in China, who are all too willing to sell antiques to those interested. Chinese Art has become very popular again, and you can see many Chinese collectors of rare items throughout the world, such as furniture. It has even spread into the fashion world, where you can see many Chinese women wearing old Chinese fashions. Chinese Art is now a very fashionable and popular hobby. It has even extended into the recording industry, with many Chinese producers creating home video recordings of traditional Chinese dances and songs.

The Chinese have always enjoyed a strong interest in art, so much so that they are known to have created some of the earliest known paintings. Some examples of these include theodiac signs, and animal images. As well as Chinese Art, you will find that there are many other things that they enjoy, ranging from writing to playing musical instruments. All in all, the people of China have enjoyed a long and interesting history, which is continually being rediscovered today.
